At The Sheep Show we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our customers. In particular, we are not in the business of passing on our customers’ details to other companies or businesses. In this Privacy Notice we explain why we collect your personal information, and what we collect, how we use it, how we protect it and how our customers can access and change their details.
Our data collection process starts when a customer asks for our availability, or a quote, for a booking. At that stage we need to collect the following: contact name, email address or telephone number, event address and date of event. This enables us to process the request and hopefully proceed with a booking. When the contract is issued we ask for a billing address. No further personal information is needed.
Our customers’ details are only shared with our workers, i.e. our presenters, drivers and their helpers. They are given a copy of the contract which is subsequently returned to our office. This is a lawful and necessary process and is required to fulfil our contractual obligations.
We store our data on a password protected personal computer with the latest anti-virus and internet security software installed (updated yearly).
Our customers have the right to access and amend (or delete) any of the personal data we hold. Please contact our data protection officer at info@thesheepshow.co.uk, should you wish to do so. Please also contact us if you have any concerns at all to do with our holding of your data.
You also have the right to make a complaint to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority for data protection issues, at any time. The ICO’s contact details are as follows:

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

How long we retain your data
